Surges by Huge Double-Digit Percent Margins Season 1B Versus Season 1A

The spring 1B finale of ABC Family’s breakout critical hit, “Pretty Little Liars,” ranked as the series’ No. 2 telecast of all time in Total Viewers (3.64 million), Adults 18-34 (1.28 million/1.9 rating), Women 18-34 (1.04 million/3.0 rating), Adults 18-49 (1.73 million/1.3 rating), Women 18-49 (1.37 million/2.1 rating), Viewers 12-34 (2.51 million/2.7 rating) and Females 12-34 (2.17 million/4.7 rating), behind only its season 1B premiere on 1/3/11.
2010/11 season to date, “Pretty Little Liars” ranks as cable’s No. 1 scripted series among Females 12-34 (2.21 million/4.8 rating) and Females Teens (1.08 million/9.0 rating), and the No. 2 scripted cable series in Women 18-34 (1.13 million/3.3 rating).

The “Pretty Little Liars” 1B finale was Monday night’s No. 1 cable telecast in Viewers 12-34 and key female demos. In fact, the series has ranked as cable’s No. 1 Monday night telecast for the past 9 weeks in Women 18-34 and Females 12-34.

* Easily cable’s No. 1 telecast at 8 o’clock in core measures, “Pretty Little Liars” towered over its time period competition over its 12-week run, surpassing the No. 2 entertainment cable networks TBS, by 108% in Adults 18-34 (1.4 million vs. 654,000) and by 315% in Women 18-34 (1.13 million vs. 272,000), and History Channel by 33% in Adults 18-49 (1.86 million vs. 1.40 million) and by 196% in Women 18-49 (1.50 million vs. 507,000).

* Versus last summer’s 1A season, “Pretty Little Liars” grew by impressive margins across all demos: +15% in Total Viewers (3.73 million vs. 3.25 million), +16% in Adults 18-34 (1.36 million vs. 1.17 million), +18% in Women 18-34 (1.13 million vs. 960,000), +19% in Adults 18-49 (1.86 million vs. 1.61 million), +15% in Viewers 12-34 (2.55 million vs. 2.21 million) and +16% in Females 12-34 (2.21 million vs. 1.91 million).
